LAS VEGAS (AP) — City officials and Las Vegas Rock ‘n' Roll Marathon organizers are calling a date shift to Nov. 17 a chance to raise the profile of the race and remove a weekend conflict with another big event in town.
Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman and Competitor Group executive Adam Zocks plan to talk Thursday at the Mirage Hotel & Casino about the new date, course reconfigurations and the economic value of the marathon.
