Seattle-based landscape architecture firm Gustafson Guthrie Nichol hired Lesley Conroy and Azzurra Cox as designers in the Washington, D.C., and Seattle offices, respectively, and Jillian Strobel as a marketing coordinator in Seattle. Conroy holds a master of landscape architecture from Virginia Tech's Washington Alexandria Architecture Center. Cox has a master of landscape architecture from Harvard Graduate School of Design, and worked in Lisbon, Portugal. Strobel holds a masters in business administration from Claremont Graduate University.

In Seattle, DOWA-IBI Group Architects hired Ross Parker as a senior architect and Kathryn Gannon as a senior designer. In Portland, it hired Brett Lundmark as a designer, Andrew Werth as an architect, Timothy Ruppel as a job captain, Kristin Belz as a marketing coordinator, and Rudy Schuver and Matt Jacoby as project managers. Parker is working on BASIS School in Bellevue and Mary Lyon Elementary School for Tacoma Public Schools. Gannon has 11 years of experience designing educational environments, including in the Bellevue School District and Seattle/Tacoma region. Lundmark has over 20 years of design experience, and is working on additions for Reynolds High School. Werth has worked on educational facilities in New Mexico and is working on McMinnville High School's addition and remodel. Ruppel holds a bachelor in architecture and a masters of architecture from Portland State University. He is working on McMinnville High School. Belz has nearly 20 years of experience in A/E/C marketing. Schuver has over 25 years of experience managing construction documents and construction administration on educational and health care projects. He is working on Rex Putnam High School. Jacoby has over 20 years of experience, including in the K-12 and higher education field.

AKS Engineering & Forestry promoted Blair Carlson to associate member and hired Vanessa F. Doctolero and Jason Wuertz as project engineer/project managers, and Jerry Bentz as a project construction inspector. Doctolero works in Salem-Keizer and Wuertz and Bentz in Tualatin, Oregon. Carlson is an owner, project manager in Vancouver and leads the hydrographic surveying team. Doctolero worked for Quincy Engineering in Rancho Cordova, California as an associate engineer and project engineer. She has nearly 11 years of experience in roadway transportation and structural bridge design. Wuertz has over 12 years of engineering experience, and was a city of Newberg senior engineer. Bentz has over 30 years of experience in heavy civil, commercial and residential excavation, and was a superintendent and project manager/estimator. AKS provides civil engineering, land use planning, land surveying, hydrographic surveying, forestry and forest engineering, arborist, natural resources, water rights, flood elevation surveying and permitting and landscape architecture services.

Ste. Michelle Wine Estates in Woodinville has made more changes to its national sales team. Following the recent promotion of Dan Heller to executive vice president of sales, Raul Perez has been appointed senior vice president and national sales manager. Perez succeeds Heller, who was promoted with the retirement of Frank Genovese. Perez is now vice president for the Eastern region based in Orlando. Keith Gosda, currently vice president for the Midwest, will replace Perez in the Eastern region.

U-Haul Company of Washington said J&J Mini Storage has signed on as a U-Haul neighborhood dealer in Puyallup. J&J Mini Storage is at 11809 Valley Ave. E. It is owned by Judi Kitchen.

EndoGastric Solutions of Redmond, which focuses on therapy for gastroesophageal reflux disease, added two senior executives to the leadership team: Martin Reid, vice president of sales, and Ted Stephens, vice president of marketing and professional education. Reid has worked in sales, leadership and business development, most recently at Olympus Corp. Stephens has worked in the medical device industry, most recently for Novadaq Technologies.

Commercial litigator and arbitrator Peggy Williams Rasmussen has joined Stokes Lawrence as of counsel. She was with Harrigan Leyh Farmer & Thomsen and also practiced at Heller Ehrman. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation involving contract disputes, antitrust matters, energy, utility regulation, computer software and hardware, environmental litigation, real estate, insurance coverage and intellectual property. Stokes Lawrence has offices in Seattle and Yakima.

All are working on the Concourse D hardstand holdroom project at Sea-Tac Airport. Reyes Rivera previously worked at Jackson Main Architecture and is experienced in the design, development and coordination of multiple building types. Wright came from Sellen Construction and has experience on projects ranging from heavy-civil to high-rise commercial. Samborsky has five years of accounting experience and previously was an accounting specialist at BINW (now Catalyst Workplace Activation).

Kent-based Hermanson Co. hired Ernie Prezioso as estimating manager in the Estimating Department, and expanded its Owner Direct Service Department with Chris Hoggarth as account manager and Dawnielle Hallstead as service advisor. Prezioso has over 30 years of experience in the mechanical construction industry, working in estimating, sales, project management and engineering. He most recently worked at Aecom in Austin, Texas, and The Austin Co. in Cleveland. Hoggarth has over 20 years of experience in the HVAC industry. He previously held positions with some of the largest mechanical contractors in the region, specializing in chiller service sales. Hallstead has nearly 20 years of experience in the mechanical contracting industry.
