Skagit Bank hired Kathy Klier as vice president and commercial loan officer at the Everett loan production office. She has 37 years of experience in banking and worked at Bank of America in Snohomish County. Jim Calderon also has joined the bank as vice president and commercial loan officer at the Everett loan production office. He has 38 years of experience in banking, specifically commercial appraisal and management. Skagit Bank has offices in Skagit, Snohomish, Whatcom and King counties.

McKinley Irvin hired veteran family law attorney Elizabeth Michelson, Of Counsel, who will lead the firm's new Everett office. Michelson has been practicing family law for more than 30 years in Snohomish County. The office is at 2825 Colby Ave., Suite 302.

Delridge Neighborhoods Association

Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association said it will join forces with Nature Consortium, a local organization focused on connecting people, arts and nature, to better serve Delridge and West Seattle. DNDA is focused on growth in Delridge. Nature Consortium's executive director Merica Whitehall is taking a new job as director of Fontenelle Forest in Nebraska.

Burt holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from Washington State University and is working on several healthcare projects. Nye has over 25 years of marketing and commercial design experience. Mello is pursuing a bachelor's degree from California State University, Stanislaus.

Samir and Asawari Mokashi, founders of Code Unlimited in Portland, are expanding the company's Seattle office and launching EnergyTech Unlimited, a new consultancy focusing on energy-saving building techniques. The Seattle office is relocating to the Polson Building at 71 Columbia St. Eduardo Signorelli is the office manager.

Wall & Ceiling Supply Co.

Seattle-based Wall & Ceiling Supply Co. was bought by Gypsum Management and Supply, a Georgia-based distributor of wallboard, suspended ceiling systems and other specialty building products. Wall & Ceiling has served the local residential and commercial markets for more than 40 years, and will continue to operate under that name with the same management. GMS has a nationwide network of more than 185 distribution centers.

MBA of King and Snohomish Counties

The Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties has $30,000 in scholarships for sophomores, juniors and seniors enrolled in residential construction-related programs at colleges and trade and technical schools. Provenance Hotels, a Portland-based hotel owner and operator, promoted Jennifer Cole to area director of sales for boutique Seattle properties. Cole will focus on Hotel Max and Hotel Theodore when it opens this fall in the former Roosevelt Hotel. Cole has worked at Canary Hotel, Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara and Inn at the Fifth in Eugene, Oregon.

The Museum of Flight
