All Home

Mark Putnam, director of All Home, will be leaving the nonprofit later this month to become executive director of Accelerator YMCA. Putnam lead All Home for four years and was a senior leader at Building Changes for 16 years prior. Kira Zylstra, current assistant director, will become acting director at All Home. Zylstra worked at Solid Ground prior to joining All Home.

King County

Casey Sixkiller was named chief operating officer at King County. Sixkiller is founder and managing partner of his own public affairs firm in Washington, D.C.; and previously was on Sen. Patty Murray's legislative staff, and handled transportation issues during the early years of Sound Transit for former Rep. Jim McDermott.

HBB Landscape Architecture

Dotson

Seattle-based HBB Landscape Architecture expanded its ownership team with Rachel Dotson, Merit Oviir and Monica Thompson, who join president Juliet Vong in leading the firm. Dotson has experience on parks and recreation, civic, mixed-use, education and military projects. Oviir designs parks and public spaces, streetscapes, trails and multimodal transit corridors. Thompson works on waterfront, parks and recreation, education and transportation projects. HBB has 15 landscape architects, urban designers and planners.

Meng Analysis

Seattle-based Meng Analysis hired Timothy Buckley as a principal. Buckley will lead value engineering and constructability studies, and do facility condition assessments. He has done educational, commercial, civic and government projects in his 27-year career. He received the 2012 Jeanie Sue Brown Award, AIA Washington Council's highest honor. Meng provides quality and cost performance consulting.

Structural engineering firm Swenson Say Faget hired Tim Mealy as a senior project manager, Scott Wible, Jordan Jones and Annie Monagle as staff engineers, and Scott Brown, Jason Black and Ponce Capati as senior CAD technicians. Mealy, Wible, Brown and Black work in Seattle and Jones, Monagle and Capati are in Tacoma. Mealy has 20 years of experience. He is working on the River Run apartment building in North Bend. Wible's work includes multifamily, commercial and retail TIs, hospitality and houses. Jones is a St. Martin's University graduate and is working on Puyallup Avenue apartments in Tacoma. Monagle graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2014 and is working on The Verdant multifamily project in Kirkland. Brown has 13 years of experience that includes the 4th Street mixed-use project in Bremerton. Black has 23 years of experience and is working on Seattle Public Utilities Drainage and Waste Water Warehouse renovation. Capati has been a CAD technician for 22 years, and is working on The Inn at Cannon Beach.

SCJ Alliance hired landscape architect Keith Jankovsky to its SCJ Studio in Seattle. He has worked on park, residential, resort hotel, senior living and master planned community projects. SCJ is a multidisciplinary consulting firm.

Shinn

In Redmond, Otak hired Brad Shinn as corporate director of business development and marketing company-wide. Shinn has over 20 years of experience that includes project manager with a public involvement firm and roles in A&E firms. Otak provides engineering, architecture, urban design, planning and project management.

Van Wormer

Architects West hired Julie Van Wormer as client development and marketing manager. She will do business development and relationship management in Washington, Idaho, Montana and Oregon and oversee marketing, communications and public relations for the firm. She has over 20 years of experience in business development and marketing for architects and engineers, including five at Architects West. The firm provides architecture, landscape architecture/land planning and interior design.

Farallon Consulting

In Portland, Farallon Consulting hired Chris Moody as a principal geologist. Moody has 23 years of environmental consulting experience, including as project manager or lead project geologist for remedial investigations/feasibility studies, sediment investigations and environmental studies.
