Fry's Electronics buys I-405 site in Renton

Fry's Electronics bought Boeing's 21.3-acre Lot 6 next to Interstate 405 in Renton on which the growing, California-based chain plans to build its first Washington superstore.

King County property records show Fry's paid Boeing $15.2 million for the huge parking lot, recognizable most recently as last summer's site of Cirque du Soleil's soaring circus tents.
