Developers unveil their vision for a new waterfront

  • The Pioneer Square and Sodo neighborhoods would also be transformed by adding thousands of new housing units and millions of square feet of commercial space.

    Samis Land Co., Vulcan Inc., Nitze-Stagen, Martin Smith Development Corp., No Boundaries and MaKensay Real Estate are among those involved in planning how to redevelop the area.

    Developer William Justen yesterday presented the Port of Seattle Commission with an eye-popping idea that would bring big changes to a significant portion of the waterfront, Pioneer Square and the Sodo neighborhood.
