RENTON -- The Seattle Times sold about 33 acres of land in Renton to Rreef for $9.5 million Tuesday, King County property records show.
Rreef, a San Francisco-based pension fund adviser, plans to build Oakesdale Commerce Center on the site at 3100 S. Longacres Drive. The center can accommodate developments of up to 350,000 square feet. The site is zoned light industrial.
Records show The Times bought the land for $6.1 million in 1991.
Rreef has hired Kirk Johnson's Capstone Partners LLC to develop the center and brokers Arie Salomon and Jeff Forsberg of Puget Sound Properties to find tenants and/or buyers.
