Federal Reserve moving to Renton

  • Boora Architects is designing a new 94,000-square-foot facility to house 100 people in the bank's Seattle branch headquarters.

    The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco has signed an agreement with Boeing to purchase 11 acres at the Longacres Office Park in Renton to build a new regional headquarters.

    Seattle Monorail Project plans to put a station at the bank's current site, at Second and Madison, according spokesperson Natasha Jones. SMP isn't guaranteed the site, however, and will have to offer fair market value, she said.
