SEATTLE The owners of Cafe Stellina say they will move their business from the Central Area to a $40 million mixed-use project on Capitol Hill.
It's the second tenant for the 12th & Madison/12th & Pike project. The cafe, which will occupy almost 1,100 square feet, will join the 6,000-square-foot Osteria La Spiga in the Piston & Ring Building.
Dunn & Hobbes is the 12th & Pike developer. GTS Development is developing 12th & Madison. They're coordinating their projects that have retail and residential in refurbished and new buildings. Laura Miller of Windermere Commercial is leasing both projects' retail.
Cafe Stellina is scheduled to open at the Piston & Ring in May. It will have 21-foot ceilings and open onto a patio.
Goudy Construction of Bellevue is the general contractor for the restoration of the Piston & Ring.
