Boutique hotel planned near Seattle Center

A parking lot near Seattle Center could soon be home to a 140-room boutique hotel.

The project, called the Maxwell Hotel and Residence, is slated for a 30,300-square-foot site on the north side of Roy Street between Third Avenue North and Nob Hill Avenue North, facing Seattle Center's Mercer Garage. Dina Corp., a holding of Columbia West Properties in Bellevue, is the owner of the three parking parcels that make up the site.
