SW Idaho becomes hotbed for retailers

BOISE (AP) — Shoppers in southwest Idaho are seeing a surge in retail stores, giving them choices for shopping and dining that are usually only found in larger cities like Seattle, Portland and Salt Lake City.

“It's quite a phenomenon,” Paul Hiller, executive director of the Boise Economic Valley Partnership, told the Idaho Statesman.
