Amazon eyes property for South Lake Union campus

  • Sources say it wants about one million square feet of space and will move its headquarters from Beacon Hill.

    Amazon currently leases about 190,000 square feet in the historic Amazon.com Building, which Wright Runstad & Co. manages.

    Amazon.com is negotiating to lease 900,000 to 1 million square feet of office space in South Lake Union to create a campus for the e-commerce company, according to real estate sources.
