Port nixed proposal for marine complex at North Bay site

    A maritime partnership spent almost a year attempting to lease as much as 35 acres of land in Interbay from the Port of Seattle for a multi-phase marine complex, only to be spurned by the port.

    The port refers to the 57-acre site north of terminals 90 and 91 as North Bay.
