SPOKANE — Potlatch Corp. announced it will acquire approximately 179,000 acres of timberland in Idaho for approximately $215 million from Western Pacific Timber, LLC. The transaction will occur in two phases.
The land contains forests of pine and mixed fir and is located in central Idaho, near recreational areas such as Tamarack Resort. Potlatch will manage the lands for timber production, real estate development and recreational uses.
