Hotel, conference center for WSU and some mixed-use too

  • The university is looking for a developer to do the hotel/conference center and just bought land near campus for housing and retail.

    Better late than never. That's the view in Pullman regarding a hotel and conference center that Washington State University wants to have built on campus.

    “In the past, we've been lacking in amenities to bring conferences to town,” said Mel Taylor, executive director of real estate and external affairs at the university. Many of those conferences end up going an hour and a half north to Spokane or elsewhere.
