Hotel brings Italy to Woodinville

WOODINVILLE — MJR Development has signed a letter of intent with Branded Lodging Co. to create an Italian-inspired luxury hotel in the Woodinville Village mixed-use development, MJR said in a news release.

The 100-room Hotel Varenna in the Woodinville wine country will include a restaurant, culinary amphitheater, 14,500 square feet of retail space, 7,000 square feet of meeting space and an outdoor piazza, the release said. It will surround a town center with shops.
