MAPLE VALLEY — The city of Maple Valley has issued a request for proposals seeking a feasibility study for the potential annexation of the “Donut Hole,” a 156-acre King County-owned property that is surrounded by the city.
The county plans to declare the land surplus and sell it to a developer through a public process. The land includes a maintenance facility, gravel mine and a nine-hole golf course.
