R.I.-based Gilbane builds 100 shingle-style homes in Anacortes waterfront community

    Houses in San Juan Passage will range from 1,300 to 2,500 square feet and cost from $500,000 to $1 million. They will be LEED-certified, with parks, trails and pedestrian-friendly streets.

    Gilbane Development Co., a subsidiary of Providence, R.I.-based Gilbane Inc., is building its first Pacific Northwest residential project: a 24-acre, 100-home master planned project in Anacortes called San Juan Passage.
