Foreclosures up 41% here

SEATTLE — A total of 1,030 properties entered into some stage of foreclosure in the Seattle Metropolitan Area in July, a 41 percent increase from a year ago, according to RealtyTrac, an online foreclosure database.

The 1,030 figure is a 13 percent increase over June.
