Dubai Mall opens with 600 retailers

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — The developer of the massive Dubai Mall says the widely anticipated shopping center is now open.

Dubai-based Emaar Malls Group says 600 retailers opened for business on Tuesday. An Olympic-size ice rink and aquarium at the mall are slated to open later Tuesday.
