Mirabella Seattle has opened at Fairview Avenue North and Denny Way in the South Lake Union neighborhood.

The 12-story complex provides housing for seniors age 62 and older. There are 321 housing units and 44 private health care suites.

Services include independent living and assisted living apartments, memory care and a health center with skilled nursing and rehabilitation care.

The owner and developer is Pacific Retirement Services of Medford, Ore. The architect is Ankrom Moisan Associated Architects and Turner Construction Co. is the contractor.

Pacific Retirement Services operates a Mirabella senior housing facility in Portland. It plans to build one in Foster City, Calif., when funding becomes available. Two others have been in the works but are now on hold due to financing difficulties.

James Munn, executive administrator of Mirabella, said the firm is offering monthly rentals for a limited time.

Amenities include an art studio, banking services, day spa, penthouse dining room, fitness center, lap pool, library and woodworking shop.
