Bellevue apartment sale sets benchmark

AvalonBay Communities paid $33 million for the 220-unit property, about $150,454 per unit.

AvalonBay Communities has purchased the 220-unit Verona apartments in downtown Bellevue in what the CB Richard Ellis brokerage firm said is the first significant multifamily sale in the region since the fourth quarter of 2008.
