Seattle volunteers headed to New Orleans

Here are “before” and “after” images of a 1930s house in the Lower Ninth Ward’s Holy Cross neighborhood that has been restored by Seattle-area volunteers through Operation Comeback.

A volunteer group of architects, contractors and preservations will head to New Orleans next month to restore hurricane-damaged historic homes in the city's Lower Ninth Ward.
