Fate of Children's expansion will rest with City Council

    A 13-year-old boy with an upcoming eye surgery, standing in the background just to the left of the balloons, addressed a crowd in front of City Hall on Wednesday to support Children’s Hospital’s expansion plans.

    Friends of Children's Hospital staged a rally in front of Seattle City Hall yesterday to drum up support for a proposed 1.5 million-square-foot expansion of the hospital on its campus in the Laurelhurst area.
