1950s Lake Hills center getting makeover

In the first phase, Cosmos is constructing the core and shell of a library, shown here on the left, and a two-story office building. They are both on top of a 37,000-square-foot base that will temporarily be used for parking. A second phase will add condos, retail and more parking.

Cosmos Development Co. expects to complete the initial redevelopment of Bellevue's Lake Hills Shopping Center in April, said Oscar Del Moro, an executive vice president with the firm.
