Changes proposed for South Downtown

Mayor Greg Nickels and the Seattle Department of Planning and Development released final recommendations Monday for land-use changes in South Downtown.

They include increasing allowable heights and densities and making zoning changes to encourage more mixed-use development in certain areas and to allow for denser office and residential development in others.
