SEATTLE — Two clean tech startups, General Biodiesel and Hydrovolts, will locate offices in the McKinstry Innovation Center. The center is meant to be an incubator for new green businesses.
The new center is 24,000 square feet and located at the McKinstry headquarters in Georgetown. The businesses have signed the first two letters of intent for the space. General Biodiesel produces high quality biodiesel from used cooking oil and animal fats. Hydrovolts invented in-stream hydrokinetic turbines that generate renewable energy from water currents. Both businesses will move into the center once construction is complete next week.
