Gates HQ has plan for a third building

By JOURNAL STAFF

SEATTLE — Current growth projections call for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to start construction of the third building on its new campus between the end of 2014 and 2017, according to campus director Norma Miller.

“We haven't zeroed in on [the date] yet,” Miller said yesterday. She noted it's difficult for any large organization to forecast its real estate needs, so the 2014-17 window isn't certain.
