Contractor is finding work fixing others' broken projects

Yale Landing started as an apartment renovation and then became condos. Fixing broken projects is how some Seattle builders are weathering the construction downturn.

One Seattle company, Saltaire Construction, is responding to the market downturn by shifting its focus to fixing what company officials call broken projects, such as a failed apartment project on Lake Union.
