LA Fitness leases space near Renton

RENTON — LA Fitness has signed a lease for 45,000 square feet at the Fairwood Shopping Center near Renton, officials of Terramar Retail Centers said yesterday.

Signing LA Fitness is a milestone in the remodel and repositioning of 50,000 square feet of the nearly 214,500-square-foot center, said officials of Terramar, which owns the property at Southeast Petrovitsky Road and 140th Avenue Southeast. The LA Fitness Center is scheduled to open in 2011.
