OLYMPIA — The Port of Olympia's plans to develop its 13-acre East Bay District are slowing down to give the market time to catch up.
Last year, the port selected the Seattle firm Tarragon to develop six parcels on nearly 7 acres with a mix of uses such as residential, retail and hospitality. The firm and the port parted ways earlier this month, blaming economic conditions.
