New program fills empty storefronts

SEATTLE — Storefronts Seattle, a program to temporarily activate empty storefronts with working artists, started yesterday in the Pioneer Square and Chinatown-International districts.

Among the artists are Dora Taylor, who teaches introductory architecture to elementary and high school students; Videa, a collection of six video artists; and Charles Martin, who will demonstrate a concept for a museum of vintage pinball machines.
