The Urban Land Institute in Seattle yesterday launched a study exploring how to foster smart real estate development around King County's new bus-rapid transit system.
The study will focus on coordinating land-use and development opportunities next to BRT stations. ULI will examine issues such as including affordable housing and public-private partnerships in areas around stations. The goal is to leverage BRT to spur the economy and promote conservation.
