Mayor Mike McGinn announced yesterday that Comcast will help bring high speed fiber Internet to Pioneer Square. The move has already drawn one new business to the area, and is one of several actions the city is taking to revitalize the neighborhood.
Charles Mount is CEO of Onehub, a business that allows companies to collaborate and share files through cloud computing. Mount said the Internet service helped convince him to make the move from Bellevue. Onehub expects to grow from 10 to 40 employees soon and is taking 2,800 square feet on the second floor of the Globe Building at First and Main next month.
