Boise County told to pay developer

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A federal judge has ordered Boise County to raise taxes above the state budget cap, if necessary, to pay a multi-million dollar judgment in a lawsuit.

The Idaho Statesman reported Wednesday that the county paid $1.2 million to Oaas Laney LLC on Monday and plans to make a $1.05 million payment by Dec. 21.
