MDG has plans for site at Melrose and Pine St.

Madison Development Group is planning to build a large mixed-use project at Melrose Avenue and East Pine Street on Capitol Hill.

In an early filing with the city, the Kirkland company says it wants to build a seven-story apartment complex with commercial space and two levels of underground parking. The half-block site is on the south side of Pine between Bellevue and Melrose avenues, across the street from Melrose Market.
