Hedreen eyes hotel/office for Greyhound block

  • The developer bought another portion of the block yesterday; plans include up to 1,250 hotel rooms.

    R.C. Hedreen Co. President David Thyer says his company is looking into developing a hotel and office project on the block where the Seattle Greyhound bus station is.

    Hedreen owns most of the block between Howell and Stewart streets and Eighth and Ninth avenues. Yesterday, records show the company paid Sound Credit Union $9.7 million for a mid-block property on Howell.
