TACOMA — The city of Tacoma is holding an open house next Thursday to gather input on a subarea plan for the Martin Luther King Jr. neighborhood.
Over the next 12 to 18 months the plan will establish a vision for future public and private investments in the district. Key issues and priorities are transportation/connectivity, housing, social environment, education, historic/cultural preservation, employment, public spaces and aesthetics.
