Two councilmembers fear new development puts Pike/Pine at risk

Two Seattle City Council members are concerned that a wave of new development could overwhelm the character of the Pike/Pine corridor, and they're asking the city design review board for the area to be careful.

Councilman Tom Rasmussen said two mixed-use apartment projects prompted him and Council President Sally Clark to send a letter to the East Design Review Board.
