Creating a ‘living building' is quite a challenge

A co-housing project on Capitol Hill might be part of the city’s Living Building Challenge pilot program. A possible design element is a green screen cascading down from the rooftop farms.

One future resident works for a commercial real estate company. Another teaches middle school in Sedro-Woolley. And a third is in day care.
