Semiahmoo Hotel closing Dec. 1 after conference business fades

  • The owners are looking for a buyer, but haven't hired anyone to market the hotel or set a price.

    Semiahmoo Resort sits on Semiahmoo Spit, near the U.S.-Canada border. The owners will continue to operate the Semiahmoo and Loomis Trail golf courses.

    Here's one more casualty of the Great Recession: the Semiahmoo Hotel in Blaine.
