$175M resort eyed for Sedro-Woolley

MOUNT VERNON — A $150 million to $175 million development proposal could bring a 300-room hotel, convention center, motor track, equestrian facilities and other outdoor amenities to the site of a former mental hospital in Sedro-Woolley.

The Skagit County Board of Commissioners will hold a public meeting tonight to take public comments on the proposal. The developers are Larry Dustin and Pete Papadopoulos.
