Amazon opening 3 Texas warehouses
SEATTLE — Amazon yesterday announced plans to open three fulfillment centers in the Texas cities of Coppell, Haslet and Schertz. The centers are expected to create more than 1,000 jobs.
The 1.2 million-square-foot center in Schertz and 1 million-square-foot center in Coppell will handle larger items such as televisions and barbecues. The 1.1 million-square-foot center in Haslet will handle smaller items such as books, small electronics or DVDs.
