Westlake Park getting play area

By JOURNAL STAFF

SEATTLE — A children's play area designed to make downtown Seattle more kid-friendly will be installed starting Feb. 18 at Westlake Park. It will open with a ceremony at 11:30 a.m. March 1.

The play space will be on the east edge of the park, between Pike and Pine streets.
