New Dock Street cafe in Tacoma

TACOMA — Pacific Seafood is paying $700,000 to the city of Tacoma for property at 1199 Dock St. and plans to spend $1.3 million to renovate a 7,720 square-foot building on the site, open a cafe and complete a public esplanade in front.

The property had been leased by Johnny's Seafood, which was purchased by Pacific Seafood in 2006.
