SRM team prepares to start work this winter on 2 Google buildings

  • SRM's construction division will build the shell and core, and Google will handle tenant improvements.

    Google prefers to have employees on a campus, not in a downtown high rise. The new buildings, on the right, could be connected to the existing campus with a skybridge over the Cross Kirkland Corridor.

    Amazon.com has been in the headlines lately gobbling up space in Seattle's South Lake Union neighborhood. Now it's Google's turn, with an announcement that it will double the size of its campus at Lakeview Plaza in Kirkland.
