Lawmakers pushing $2B freight corridor

As state lawmakers work to pass a transportation budget, support is growing for a project that would link Interstate 5 with state routes 509 and 167 to speed car and truck traffic south of Seattle.

Puget Sound Gateway would link I-5 with SR-509 and SR-167, shown here in red.
