The Seattle City Council's South Lake Union committee has waded through months of meetings to respond to Mayor Mike McGinn's South Lake Union rezone proposal, and the effort is coming to a close.
The committee is made up of the whole council, and it voted Monday to increase the fees developers must pay if they don't include affordable units in their projects. They also settled on height limits in the “Westlake Panhandle.”
