Staples will open tech office in Seattle

  • The move is part of the company's strategy to invest in places with high concentrations of e-commerce and engineering talent.

    The office products company Staples announced plans on Thursday to open an e-commerce and engineering office in Seattle.

    Mark Cautela, a spokesman for the company, told the DJC that the office would start with 50 employees and would be located in downtown near Pioneer Square.
