Maple Valley OK to annex doughnut hole

SEATTLE —The Metropolitan King County Council has approved an interlocal agreement with the city of Maple Valley allowing the city to annex a 156-acre county property.

The site, known as the “doughnut hole,” is surrounded by the city and houses a golf course and a county roads maintenance facility.
